Applications for entrance to our Bachelor's and Master's programmes start today, November 1, for entrance in September 2021

HSE University is pleased to announce the launch of Class Experience, a programme designed for international students who are interested in learning more about master’s studies at HSE University. The programme application period begins on October 22. Once accepted to the programme, participants can attend lectures offered by all four campuses of HSE University

HSE University offers a unique opportunity for international students to study for a week in an International Study Tour Experience. The application period is from October 22 to November 16, 2020

Every October, HSE University sums up the results of that year’s international student admissions campaign. This year, due to the pandemic, the University quickly reorganized admissions procedures and began holding all events and consultations remotely. In total, 9,324 students from 156 countries applied to undergraduate and graduate programmes at HSE University. For the 2020/2021 year, HSE welcomed 2,214 students from all over the world to its campuses. This is an 11% increase in international enrollments from last year.

Amiran Karatsev won the 2020 HSE Global Scholarship Competition (GSC) in Tajikistan in subjects that are not usually taught in high school: philosophy and psychology. Amiran spoke to HSE News Service about the advantages of participating in person, why some of the Competition tasks have no correct answer, and how to not only effectively prepare for it, but have fun while doing it. Arina Smirnova (Kyrgyzstan) knows like no other what it is like to start all over again and achieve her goals in spite of everything. Even now, when all universities have switched to online training, HSE University is ready to expand its horizons! Consultations for prospective international students are now available in Arabic

Classes will begin on-campus on September 1 (for some graduate programmes on October 1), and wearing masks in university buildings and dormitories will be mandatory for all students and teachers. At the same time, all foreign students must obtain additional certificates before arriving in Russia
