If you are going to apply for a Russian government scholarship for a programme taught in Russian but don’t know Russian language yet, here the detailed instruction for you:
Steps for undergraduate application:
1. Register in Undergraduate personal account for international applicants.
2. Choose an undergraduate programme that doesn’t require to pass an exam in Russian language as a major subject.
3. Pass the entrance exam in major subject and get a minimum score for admission to the Russian government scholarship.
4. Inform the moderator via personal account about your decision to learn Russian language in the Preparatory Year.
Steps for graduate application:
1. Register in Graduate personal account for international applicants.
2. Choose a graduate programme and submit documents for portfolio according to portfolio criteria.
3. Wait the programme’s decision. Russian taught programme has the right to accept or decline your portfolio application in English.
4. In the case of a positive decision during the evaluation of application, your status in personal account will be the following: the candidate is recommended for admission to the programme including one year of Preparatory Year programme to learn Russian language.
