Procedure for Recognition of Foreign Education and (or) Qualifications
This Procedure outlines the rules for recognizing foreign education and (or) a foreign qualification (hereinafter, ‘FEQ’) for the purpose of educating and hiring citizens at HSE University (the document is in Russian).

Step 1: Prepare your documents
The following documents are required for the recognition of foreign education and/or qualification:
- document confirming the citizenship and identifying the applicant ID (passport);
- notarized translation of ID document;
- original copy of the diploma or certificate of FEQ, the specific legalization procedure of which will depend on the country where the diploma was issued;
- notarized translation of FEQ document;
- original of official transcripts (supplement with marks);
- notarized translation of official transcripts.
Experts reserve the right to request, if necessary, additional documents confirming the appropriate level of training of the holder of foreign education.

Step 3: Result of consideration of application
Application for recognition is returned - read carefully a comment from expert, update your application and re-submit.
Preliminary recognition - the documents should be revised, read carefully a comment from expert in your Personal account.
Final recognition - the documents are OK, bring them to the study office upon arrival at the University.
