Brazilian student Vicente Giaccaglini Ferraro has been interested in Russia since childhood, when he started learning Russian on his own. He is now studying in the Higher School of Economics’ Applied Politics master’s programme. In an interview with the HSE News Service, Vicente discusses what drew him towards Russia, why he chose HSE, and why he is happy when it is cold.

Starting this year, students in the ‘International Business’ Master’s programme will receive two diplomas: a Russian state-recognized Master's degree in ‘Management’ with a specialization in ‘International Business’ from the Higher School of Economics and a Master of International Business (MIB) from the Darla Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina (USA).

Beginning in September 2015, the International Institute of Administration and Business at HSE will launch a new English-language Master in International Business programme. In less than half a year, this professional training programme will enable participants to learn how to manage a business in an international environment. An Open House for the programme will be held on April 25.
HSE is pleased to announce 75 scholarship places for international students in its Preparatory Year programme in Moscow. Over the course of 32 weeks, the programme trains international students so that upon completion they are ready to enter Russian-taught Master’s programmes.
From 30th March to 3rd April, 50 German students attended a session of the Business in Russia programme, run jointly by HSE and DAAD and the German Chamber of Foreign Trade since 2012. Students on the programme do six-month internships in German company offices in Russia and prepare group projects on various themes, under the guidance of HSE professor Natalya Guseva.
HSE has finalised agreements with its international partner universities for new double diplomas and student exchanges in the framework of the Master’s programme in Governance of Science, Technology and Innovation. The Summer University started at HSE in 2014, and has since been developing and growing rapidly. Classes in this year's programme will take place between June 22 and August 8. Applications will be accepted until May 1.
