The Higher School of Economics and Université Grenoble Alpes (Grenoble Alpes University) have signed a cooperation agreement, initiated by HSE Faculty of Computer Science. Under the agreement the universities will organize academic exchange programmes, research and educational activities, and joint research projects.
Aditya Haryo Proboncono, a 27-year-old Indonesian graduate of the University of Indonesia with a Bachelor in Humanities, is currently enrolled at in the HSE School of Asian Studies where he is enjoying courses in the culture, language, history, as well as political and economic development of Asian countries.

Jonathan Gerhard from James Madison University spent one semester studying in Math in Moscow programme run jointly by HSE, Moscow Center for Continuous Mathematical Education, and Independent University of Moscow. Every summer students from Chongqing’s Southwest University of Political Science and Law come to HSE Nizhny Novgorod to study Russian and learn more about Russian culture and cuisine.
Ten students from the Brigham Young University (Utah, USA) have arrived in Nizhny Novgorod for the Summer School on Russian Language and Culture. Between now and midsummer the students will attend lectures on intercultural communication, literature and Russian history as well as improving their knowledge of Russian.
