London Connection, online magazine of the University of London International programmes published an interview with Vassiliy Kosov, ICEF BSc Economics and Finance graduate of 2014, and spoke to him about studying for two degrees concurrently, winning a scholarship to LSE, and the economic outlook for Russia.

The Higher School of Economics and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) have signed an agreement of mutual understanding. The agreement will allow in the future for some of the subjects taught at HSE to be recognised in ACCA’s accreditation process and opens up possibilities for students and graduates of financial programmes.
HSE has finalised agreements with its international partner universities for new double diplomas and student exchanges in the framework of the Master’s programme in Governance of Science, Technology and Innovation. Dirk Meissner, Academic Supervisor for the Master’s programme, spoke to the HSE English News service about how the new agreements are made to give master’s students the best opportunities for study abroad and double degree programmes while making sure they match HSE’s approaches and standards.
The Summer University started at HSE in 2014, and has since been developing and growing rapidly. Classes in this year's programme will take place between June 22 and August 8. Applications will be accepted until May 1.
On the 17th March 2015, 10 students from the University of Iowa, School of Law arrived in Moscow to take part in a research project with 2nd and 3rd year undergraduates at the HSE Faculty of Law. The aim of this international project is to compare legal interpretation of the same problems in Russia and the USA. In April, Russian students will go to America to finalize and present their joint projects.
A team of students on the Financial Economics MA course has won the Russian finals of the CFA Institute Research Challenge. The winners talk about how their studies at the International College of Economics and Finance helps them achieve their professional goals.
On September 17, 2014, the annual conference held by the European Association for International Education (EAIE) opened in Prague, Czech Republic. EAIE is the leading European association devoted to promoting the internationalization of higher education across Europe and around the world.
This year the HSE’s Faculty of Pre-University Training will offer for the first time a programme to prepare foreign students to study in Russian at the Higher School of Economics. Although aimed primarily at those wishing to enroll in undergraduate programmes, it is also available to those wishing to study at the Master’s level.
Over the course of six weeks, students from 12 countries, including South Korea, China, Turkey, Pakistan, Iran, Afghanistan, the U.S., Norway and others, will attend lectures, participate in seminars and master classes, and study Russian under the supervision of leading HSE instructors.
