In 2018, the Higher School of Economics will launch an English-taught double degree programme in partnership with the University of London in Applied Data Analysis. Graduates will be awarded an undergraduate degree from HSE in Applied Mathematics and Information Science and a Bachelor of Science in Data Science and Business Analytics from the University of London. International applicants are invited to apply online starting November 15, 2017.

The fourth HSE International Summer University has drawn to a close. The programme continues to grow and evolve. This year over 160 students from 46 universities came to HSE to take courses in International Relations & Politics, Computer Science, Russian Studies, Economics, Culture & History.
Students and doctoral students of the HSE Faculty of Computer Science will have the opportunity to take part in exchange and double degree programmes.
On March 28, 2017, a meeting of representatives of national certification committees for logistics was held in Bucharest, Romania. Andrey Vinogradov, Deputy Head for International Relations at HSE School of Logistics, took part in the event.
April 1st, 2017 was the deadline for international students claiming state-financed slots on master’s programmes funded by scholarships from the Russian Government. The application period for undergraduate programmes lasts until May 2, and for fee-paying slots in undergraduate and master’s programmes – until mid-August. Some of the prospective students will have the opportunity to get a tuition fee discount.
Double-degree programme is launched on ICEF MSc ‘Financial Economics’. Starting from 2017/2018 intake, ICEF students can obtain a second Master’s Degree in Economics and Finance from LUISS University (Rome, Italy). Partner universities each award two individual qualifications upon completion of the collaborative programme requirements.
In the Faculty of Humanities’ new master’s programme, Cultural and Intellectual History: Between East and West, students will study the history, culture, and traditions of Eastern and Western Europe from the Middle Ages to now. The programme, which begins accepting applications in 2017, also offers students the opportunity to receive a diploma from a partner university abroad.
Since the beginning of this academic year, Marika Sharashenidze has been a research intern at theLaboratory of Sociology in Education and Science (LSES) in St. Petersburg.
Every summer students from Chongqing’s Southwest University of Political Science and Law come to HSE Nizhny Novgorod to study Russian and learn more about Russian culture and cuisine.
