HSE University now ranks 16th and places among the top 5% of universities in emerging Europe and Central Asia in the QS EECA University Rankings released by the British ranking agency QS.

This year, the Master’s Programme ‘Strategic Management in Logistics’, offered by the HSE Graduate School of Business, ranked 34^th in the Supply Chain Management Programme ranking, a new addition to the QS Business Masters Rankings. This is the fifth HSE programme to be included the QS Business Rankings. Four others have ranked among the top 100 for several years now.

HSE University took 298^th place in the 2021 QS World University Rankings, improving its ranking by 24 positions compared to last year and entering the first quartile of the world’s leading universities. HSE University now ranks among the world’s top 300 universities in two international rankings: the Quacquarelli Symonds World University Rankings and the Times Higher Education World University Rankings.

This year, HSE University has entered four additional QS World University Rankings by Subject, thereby bringing its grand total of represented broad and specific subject areas to 23. HSE ranks in 19 of the 38 subject rankings that include Russian universities, as well as in four of the ranking’s five broad subject areas. HSE is among the world’s top 100 universities in five subjects, including History and Social Policy & Administration, where it has entered the rankings for the first time.

This year HSE University rose six positions to take 17^th place in the QS Emerging Europe and Central Asia University Ranking (QS EECA).

HSE University is now represented in all four fields of the Top-100 of Business Master's ranking, which was published for the third time by the international agency QS.

HSE University was able to place high on the Graduate Employability Ranking (201-250), outpacing its main competitors for the first time in five years. This year, the number of candidates to the ranking was increased 15% (758 universities), with new 36 universities joining the list.

HSE recently placed 38th in the QS Top-50 ‘Under 50’ ranking, thus maintaining its position in the Top-40 despite increasing competition in this special academic category.

HSE University has improved its position in the QS institutional ranking by 21 places this year, taking 7^th place among Russian universities. The advancement comes thanks to a significant improvement in academic reputation and assessment of university graduates by employers.

The latest results of the QS World University Rankings by Subject demonstrate that Russian universities are continuing to make great strides in international rankings. Among the Russian universities that made the rankings, HSE tops the list with 16 specific subjects and 3 broad subject areas entering the rankings. Compared to last year, HSE has improved its performance in almost all subjects.
