Arabia Expo Participants Learn About HSE Programmes
From April 8 to 10, the Arab exhibition-forum Arabia Expo was held in the Manege Central Exhibition Hall in Moscow. The event was organized by the Russian-Arab Business Council with the support of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, the League of Arab States, the General Union of Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture for Arab Countries, Russian Embassies in Arab countries and Arab diplomatic missions in Moscow. For the first time, HSE participated in the collective stand of the Moscow Government. International participants learned about higher and additional professional education opportunities, including short-term and online courses, at HSE—one of the top Russian universities according to the QS and THE World University Rankings by Subject Area.
Over the course of three days at the Arabia Expo, HSE exhibition representatives attended a round table on 'Cooperation in the Field of Innovative Educational Technologies' and held talks with delegates from governmental organizations, private businesses, and also expert communities of the Arab world, proposing different forms of collaboration and educational solutions tailored to their specific needs. HSE staff also attended the IV international exhibition's closing ceremony.
Educational services are of great significance not only as a Russian export to the world, but also as way to to improve and expand the mutually beneficial business relations with Arab countries. HSE University considers participation in the exhibition to be a crucial step in expanding business cooperation with Middle Eastern partners and implementing new educational projects for both national and international corporations.
According to the exhibition’s website, around 10 thousand people participated in the exhibition, including 700 companies and business associations. Among the participating countries were Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Iraq, Algeria, Egypt, Qatar, Oman, Jordan, Palestine, Morocco, Libya, Syria, and others.
