Summer Intensive Preparatory Course at HSE Nizhny Novgorod

HSE Nizhny Novgorod is launching a summer preparatory course for international students. The programme’s main goal is to give international students knowledge of general and professional Russian required for successfully mastering HSE’s educational programmes.

During this intensive course participants will be able to improve their basic Russian language skills: reading, listening, speaking, and writing. Special attention will be paid to a chosen academic field (humanities, economics, or engineering). The course will also help students to adapt to a new socio-linguistic environment, improve their knowledge of Russian language, and gain basic understanding of the chosen major.

Programme content: 100 in-class hours, 70 hours are devoted to Russian language, 30 hours – to  professional Russian in accordance with a participant's major.

Length of studies: 3 weeks. The course starts approximately on July 31 (as soon as the group is filled).

Tuition fee 30 000 rubles. School participants will be provided with dormitory accommodation.

Upon successful completion of the HSE Nizhny Novgorod Summer Preparatory Course international students will get a 25% discount on the first year tuition fee on HSE's master's or bachelor's programmes.
