About participation in the competition for fee-paying places for foreign applicants holding citizenship of the Russian Federation

Dear Applicants!

Please take note of the specific features of the 2026 admissions campaign for international applicants who hold citizenship of the Russian Federation.

In accordance with the established admissions regulations, the competitive selection for fee-paying places at HSE University for foreign applicants is conducted as part of a separate admissions campaign. Participation in this competition is available only to persons who do not hold Russian citizenship.
 

Therefore, international applicants with Russian citizenship cannot be admitted to fee-paying places based on the results of the competition for foreign nationals in 2026. Admission on a fee-paying basis for citizens of the Russian Federation is carried out through the general competition established for Russian applicants.
